Daily Deviation

The differences in colors and contrasts are great! The warm colors versus the cold colors, the light versus the shadows, very nice!

Let me just say, I love the brightness and the vibrancy of the color of this whole photograph. I also like how it transitions from yellowish sand dunes to green mountain area to the blue sky. It's so scenic! I also like how you were able to keep the colors of the photo so natural and vivid when you edited it. Unique scenery, natural beauty, great job for capturing it so well.

Although, in the mountain part there. I can see like a little line that separates the mountain from the sky. It looks like an edit mishap to me. So you might just have to be a little careful with editing next time. All in all though, I really like it.

This is an incredible photo. My mind literally did the "whoa thing" when I saw this. If I had to dream up another planet, or something from a science-fiction novel/movie, this is probably what it would be like.

In terms of the movie world, this is essentially "Dune meets Pandora".

The golden brown dunes merging into the green-blue hills with the slight mist and the blue sky; I don't think those colors could work together any better than they do. The brightness of the foreground, even a little over exposed in parts, make you want to squint, only to find relief in the subtle background.

Add to that the detail and incredible clarity and you truly have an astonishing masterpiece. The DD is certainly well deserved. The one thing I am left wondering is, whether this is an HDR composition, or not, but it certainly doesn't matter either way!

Kudos for taking this shot!
